Wall Township, New Jersey, 1/10/2007 – Since August 2006 The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) has made funding available for the removal or abandonment of non-leaking Underground Storage Tanks (UST). The EDA will also fund the installation of Above Ground Storage Tanks.
The New Jersey Economic Authority states, “Effective Aug. 4, 2006, the Petroleum Underground Storage Tank Remediation, Upgrade and Closure Program provides loans and grants to eligible applicants to help finance project costs for the closure and replacement of a non-leaking residential underground storage tank (UST).”
Firstech Environmental, Inc. is an approved contractor and can assist homeowners in taking advantage of this program. Firstech has saved homeowners over $1,000,000 so far using this program.
